 2. Purchasing Art from Rod McIntosh
2.1 When you place an order with Rod McIntosh, you are offering to buy an original artwork. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order and payment.
2.2 In the unlikely event that the artwork is no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. No order has been placed at this point. 2.3 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the artwork that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that the display on your computer monitor, tablet or mobile device will accurately reflect the colour and tone of the original art. We can only show what technology allows us to showcase. If possible, we would encourage a studio visit or arrange a viewing in Central London. 2.4 If you would like any additional photographs or video of specific works, perhaps close ups of the surface, how it is framed and hanging instructions, do let us know.
2.5 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information is provided in good faith.
2.6 By placing an order with Rod McIntosh, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy and the terms of website use.

3. How to buy work by Rod McIntosh
3.1 You can use this website to purchase work. Simply place an order by selecting the artwork you wish to buy from the listed works consigned to the Shop page. Completing the necessary administration steps including full payment at checkout. 3.2 You can also drop me a message using the Enquiry buttons on any of the Collection pages to ask about specific works you have seen. If they are available, we will invoice for payment including shipping. Full payment to be received before dispatch. 3.3 If you express an interest in work that is no longer available, we can begin a conversation about a bespoke commission. Just for you. 3.4 if you are interested in a bespoke commission piece, contact us using the button on the Commission page to arrange a call back. 3.5 UK shipping is added at checkout for the work purchased through this website.  Overseas shipping will be quoted once we receive your order and address.
3.6 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa or Mastercard via PayPal. We also accept BACS and international transfers offline.
3.7 All prices quoted on my website are in UK pounds sterling.
3.8 For non-UK countries there may be additional charges for importing goods. Please be aware of this when making a purchase (especially a large purchase), It is your responsibility to pay import duty if charged.
3.9 Once all administration information and full payment has been received, your order is completed. We will notify you of the dispatch date, within 7 days.

 4. Delivery and Shipping Charges
4.1 Goods will be dispatched from Rod McIntosh within 7 working days. Do let us know if you need a faster delivery as we can usually make it work.
4.2 The goods will normally be delivered within 2-3 working days of dispatch within the UK and 7-10 days for overseas shipments. 4.3 Collections of work, may be arranged from the Studio or central London location, by prior arrangements
4.4 Your art will be delivered to the address you give on your order. You must make necessary arrangements to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended, in a safe space.
4.5 After two failed delivery attempts, (or if you are not at home for an agreed delivery), the goods may be returned to Rod McIntosh where we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.
4.6 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.
4.71  All of our work is quality checked before leaving the studio. Items are packaged securely in a durable parcel to minimise risk of damage in transit. Ensuring you safely receive top quality goods with no faults or defects. 4.72 Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility once you have decided to keep the work. 4.81 Please check the goods on delivery. Any packaging found to be damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery to qualify for any petition to claim. You should then notify us with the report reference within 3 days of delivery. 4.82 If you are reporting a problem or fault with your work, please follow 4.81 and get in touch via email with the reference, a description of the damage and photos of the issue. We will be in contact as soon as possible to resolve the problem.
4.9 If the goods are lost in transit resulting in being undelivered, please let us know promptly.

 5. Cancellation and Returns
5.1 You can cancel original art orders at any time up to 7 days after the day of delivery. To cancel, please e-mail or write to us with a brief explanation giving your reasons for cancellation. This will help me improve the service we offer to customers in future. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.
5.2 If you cancel, you must inform us as 5.1 and return the art, complete with the original packaging, within 7 days of the notice of cancellation at your own expense. Returned work must be posted using the original packaging and packaged in the same secure way to adequately protect against damage.
5.3 We will refund all monies paid including the original shipping charges within 30 days for damaged artwork. Returning for a ‘change of mind’ you shall receive the cost of the artwork only; the cost of return delivery is covered by the buyer.

6. Privacy Policy We do not share any personal information with any other parties.
